Different people. Different conversations. Different results.

We don’t want all of our consultants to be—or think—the same, and we suspect you don’t either. The results we deliver at Bridge Partners come from our differences as often as from the experience and insight we share. And our clients, from manufacturers to retailers to technology pioneers and beyond, have seen what that really can mean.

What drives you in your career? There are three things that drive me in my career - 1) can I leverage my experience and make a difference by providing great customer business value? 2) do I believe in the leadership team and organization that I work for? and 3) when I do good work am I recognized and rewarded for it? They are like the three legs of a stool - if any one is missing you won't have a solid footing. At Bridge, I feel fortunate because it offers me the chance to achieve all three on a daily basis, which is an incredibly rewarding experience.

What do you do when you're not at work? When I'm not working, I like to spend time with my family enjoying the outdoors around the Puget Sound, or travelling to fun and interesting places around the world. As a personal hobby I also enjoy training for and participating in multi-sport events like triathlons, or team challenges like the Nike Hood to Coast or the Ragnar Relay Series.

How did you get into consulting and what do you enjoy most about consulting? The main reason I got into consulting was to have more control over my own professional destiny and success. I take a lot of pride in my work, and love the fact that I am measured directly on how well I do on a job with a client; where the quality of my hard work is appreciated on it's own merits, largely devoid of the usual political trappings. I really enjoy the variety of new clients and projects, and the sense of accomplishment and immediate feedback that comes from a job well done.

What is your funcitonal, business, industry or client expertise/experience? My career has been customer and partner-focused from the beginning, and I am fortunate to have experience across the disciplines of customer & partner sales, marketing, business strategy & planning, and operations. Most of my background has been working in high technology firms with a focus on the Enterprise Customer and Partner segment. What I offer is the ability to blend both business strategy and operational execution, to help companies land their sales and marketing strategies down to the customer, partner, or field level.

What makes you laugh? I get great joy from my wife and children - and we have a lot of laughter in our lives, fortunately. My wife taught me the importance of having fun and humor in my life, and to not always take things too seriously.

What makes you laugh? Monkeys smoking… it's just so inappropriate.

Is there a movie or book that moves you and why? The House of Spirits by Isabel Allende. It's a beautifully written book… both the Spanish and the English translation are almost lyrical. And, beyond the political and historical themes, it is a story about family and all of the craziness that can entail.
