Different people. Different conversations. Different results.

We don’t want all of our consultants to be—or think—the same, and we suspect you don’t either. The results we deliver at Bridge Partners come from our differences as often as from the experience and insight we share. And our clients, from manufacturers to retailers to technology pioneers and beyond, have seen what that really can mean.

What's the most exciting project you've been on at Bridge Partners? I have managed the Business Investment Fund for Windows Azure for FY11 and found the interaction with the field team to be eye opening and challenging. Establishing the budget for regional partners and juggling their requests has been a great learning experience, which has exposed me to our international players and markets.

What do you do when you're not at work? Living in Washington has been terrific; I came here from Malaysia (another very nice place-- go visit if you haven't yet!) and have had a great time experiencing winter activities (skiing, snowshoeing, and movies on rainy days). Summer brings hiking and camping, and sometimes rock climbing. We are pretty adventurous, and like to explore new places, locally and abroad.

What's the most interesting place you've visited and why? As a South Asia field sales manager, I often did business in Pakistan, India, the Phillippines, and Indonesia. My business partners were always terrific hosts, and I got to experience a small part of life as a local with their help.

How did you get into consulting and what do you enjoy most about consulting? I wanted to find a role that would allow me to use my experience as a project and sales lead, while exploring other industries. I've certainly found that with Bridge Partners at Microsoft. I enjoy providing project guidance and working on tasks while avoiding the administrative headaches that can accompany full time work there.

What is your funcitonal, business, industry or client expertise/experience? I think my strongest attribute is the mix of my engineering and business backgrounds. Having started by learning software to solve scientific problems, I find it relatively easy to pick up any new business application and processes.

Is there a movie or book that moves you and why? I've been reading the "Princess" series of books, written from the perspective of a Saudi Arabian royal princess. I find it fascinating that people who have everything can end up having nothing of value in life. I'm happy to see the stark contrast with my own, but feel we all must be aware of the world outside of our view.

What's the most exciting project you've been on at Bridge Partners? The most exciting (and also first) project I've worked on at Bridge Partners has been acting as the Lead Project Manager for design and development of the Services Sales Manager (SSM) Dashboard. This effort culminated in the first time that Sales Managers have had their quota, attainment, pipeline, and forecast all in one place.  Officially launching in December, the dashboard has been well received by the field.

What drives you in your career? I find myself most fulfilled when I can lead a team made up of individuals from across organizations to deliver something that will drive improvements in how people spend their time.  I often lose track of time when I am diving into data or defining a complex process.

What do you do when you're not at work? When I am not at work, you can often find me spending time with my family, building,  or remodeling, or fixing something, or on the go with my camera, capturing memories (I have become known as the "documentarian" in some circles).

How did you get into consulting and what do you enjoy most about consulting? When I was considering my next career move, I realized that the type of work I enjoy most (and had been doing already in an unofficial capacity) is business consulting.  What I most enjoy about my role is working with others, adding the right amount of structure and process, and learning about new businesses.

What is something that you want to accomplish over the next 30 years? I have never been to Europe and would love to spend several weeks with my family getting to know the places I've only heard about or seen on the screen. It's important for me to get to know the people and culture in each area, as well, which often gets overlooked in a "whirlwind" tour.
